This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for any paid products or services offered by Nagaland Me through Nagaland.news (the “Website”). Please read it carefully before making any payment.
1. Free access to news
Reading the news on Nagaland.news is free. The majority of our content is available to everyone at no cost, and no payment is required to browse the Website or read our reporting.
2. Paid products and services

3. Digital subscriptions and memberships

- If you believe you have been charged in error, or you were charged after cancelling, contact us and we will review your case fairly.
- You may cancel a recurring subscription at any time to stop future payments. Cancellation stops the next renewal and does not refund the current period unless required by law.
4. When we will offer a refund
We want you to be satisfied. We will consider a refund where:
- you were charged more than once for the same product due to a technical error;
- you were charged after you had already cancelled;
- a paid feature you purchased was not delivered due to a fault on our side; or
- a refund is required under applicable law.
5. When we cannot offer a refund
We are generally unable to offer a refund where:
- you have changed your mind after the benefit has already been provided;
- you have used or accessed the paid benefit for the billing period in question; or
- the request falls outside the timeframe set out below.
6. How to request a refund
To request a refund, email info@nagaland.news within seven days of the payment, with the subject line “Refund request”. Please include the name and email used for the purchase, the date and amount of the payment, and the reason for your request. We may ask for proof of payment.
7. Processing time
We aim to review refund requests within seven working days. If a refund is approved, it will be processed back to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take a further five to ten working days for the amount to appear in your account.
8. Payment providers
Payments are handled by secure third party payment providers. Any refund is issued through the same provider and payment method used for the original transaction. We do not store your full card or banking details.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase.
